THE F-BAR-J RANCH

Welcome to our little piece of Alaskan paradise.

Founded by and for horse lovers. Sharing our little piece of heaven with Alaskan horse owners. The F-Bar-J Ranch provides horse boarding services exclusively for privately owned horses.

FOSTERING COMMUNITY, RELATIONSHIPS, & SUSTAINABILITY.

Connecting with your horse, nature, and each other.

If you are in search of a family friendly facility for your four-legged equine companion and enjoy the company of like-minded horse owners, then this is the place for you!

We only provide boarding for privately-owned horses.

At this time, we are not offering horse trail rides, horses for rent, or riding lessons.

The F-Bar-J Ranch is an oasis for the horses and horse parents that board with us. Each horse will have their own stall and paddock with exclusive access to ranch amenities. Our ranch is like a secondary home to our boarders.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

We have the best backyard.

Nestled in a quiet neighborhood located in the Anchorage area with convenient access to the Bureau of Land Management maintained trails.

The F-Bar-J Ranch sits on approximately 10 acres of land on the eastern border of Anchorage on the corner of Elmore Road and Lore Road. It encompasses pretty close to two city blocks stretching between Lore Road on the south and 80th Avenue on the north.

RANCH ACCOMMODATIONS

The F-Bar-J is a private ranch and is not available to the public. It is an oasis for the horses and horse parents that board with us. Each horse will have their own stall and paddock with exclusive access to ranch amenities.

HORSE BOARDING

The F-Bar-J Stable includes a run in shelter and large paddock area for each horse and includes a complete nutrition ration of brome hay from the valley and grain (optional) fed in two feedings daily. There is additional storage available to accommodate your feed if required.

*If your horse requires additional hay or supplements, it falls on the responsibility of the owner.

ARENAS, TURNOUTS, & PENS

There are two large arenas plus two circle training areas, two turnout areas and a small grazing meadow area available to those who stable their horses here. The horses seem to like the meadow area a lot, but then again, so do some of the owners.

MEADOW & PATHWAY

The meadow is where our horses hang out to graze in the summer and get to enjoy one of two of our bathing stalls.

The main pathway connects the upper to the lower arena and is a great way to stretch both horse and human legs.
